In Between Project
Project: In Between
Size: 70x70
Year Created: 2008 and still in progress
Project description: Our memory is consisted out of a number of sequences, images, that we recur to in our mind. Here, I am presenting photographs of people that are remembering certain moments from their past, and by photographing them in that particular moment these images are in between present time and the past. All the persons are asked to think about any situation from their past and after asking them I made kind of documentation of that process. While they are exposed to camera the viewer may notice face expressions which are in confrontation to each other. While they are trying to pose for camera at the same time they are deeply concentrated on their past memory. Their thoughts are exposed but not visible. It is a state of now and before, between a word and a thought, where photography is the only barrier...

Project: Mistake
Project: Mistake
Size: 60x60
Year Created: 2008
After 4 years of studying photography, I decided to make a recap of my art activity. I asked myself why did I labeled some of the photographs as a mistake and did not develop them. So, all of those ,,errors'' have now got the chance to be viewed by others. To expose an error in a gallery. What is an error? What kind of rules are we following in art - a field that is supposed to be very open minded. What is a mistake in photography? ... ...
* This project has never been exhibited in a gallery because it was labeled as technically WRONG!

Mind Room Project pt2
Mind Room Project - announcement
Project: Mind Room
Medium: Photography
Size: 60X60
Year created: 2007
MindRoom is a project that refers to selfexploring.
Very often our fear of unknown can interfear with our perception. There are a number of things that influence human mind when they are surrounded by new space- colors, sounds, smell, temperature etc.
I try to emphasize all of these elements through photography and to make visual connection and confrontation to our fears, senses, perception.
As people view my work, one story of my own feelings of that space will follow the photos (variations of large and small texts under every photograph).
For further informations about this project please contact me.

WELCOME!
Dear readers, art lovers, curious people and all of you who have stumbled upon my blog-presentation.
First of all thank you for taking some of your time and looking and reading at this page. This blog is a presentation of my art works as well as commercial work that I have been doing during and after my studies.
Let me introduce myself. My name is Bojana Bosnjacki (pronnounced Boiana Boshnyatchki), born and live in Belgrade, Serbia. I have graduated photography at Academy of Arts in Belgrade and I am now doing my master studies in theory of art at University of Art in Belgrade. As you will see, my main focus is on conceptual art photography. Mostly dealing with the understanding of photography as a medium in different then just an esthetic point of view. I work in series. All of my art works are made with film 35mm or 120mm.
As my job I work with other types of photography, such as fashion photography.
Aside of my photography interest, I own a vintage shop and work in a fashion industry.
For any kind of information, collaboration, comissioning - feel free to leave a comment or to contact me.
